It's those little things...

"Thank you for helping me," there was a slight pause there. "I wouldn't have gotten it without you."

She was taller than other girls in the class. A little bit playful, as I remembered. She usually wore a smile or a mischevious smirk, but that day when she stopped me by the canteen and looked straight into my eyes, I saw a different kind of expression I hadn't before. It was a crystal-clear honesty and something else. There wasn't a smile or a smirk involved, yet it made my heart swollen with happiness.

It was those little things that could lift you up on cloud nine. An honest-to-heart whisper of thank. A genuine grasp of grateful hand. A heartfelt honesty. You weren't asking for it, yet when it came, you couldn't escape from being happy - plain and simple.

It was my 5 minutes of fame. I was on a stage with no audience, but I was higher than a kite; perhaps plane. An A in English, a thankful whisper and a person whose life I'd touched.

Somewhere around the map, someone else would've been feeling the same.

Motivational quotes

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore,
is not an act but a habit.

Aristotle

Knowing is not enough; we must apply.
Willing is not enough; we must do.

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
